@steemcurator04 & Country Representative Report

It is a privilege and an absolute pleasure to present my report as a country representative of Ghana for the past week and my activities with the steemcurator04 account which was focused on supporting steemians from my country. This report will be covering the time frame from 14th to 20th of October.

The week saw me undergo series of activities which focuses on the growth and support of the Ghanaians steemians and the growth and support of the only Ghanaian community on the blockchain. More effort is been put in on a daily basis to ensure that steemians are doing what is right and the community is moving up sustainability. Please find below the activities i underwent;

This friday saw the successful launch of the promofriday challenge which i introduced with the intent of getting Ghanaian steemians out there and more engaged in promotional activities. It was greeted well and saw a good number of entries with the use of the tag #promofriday. Entries were awarded with steem and i am expecting to have a good number of entries come this friday. My work as an official promoter for Ghana comes with following up with active Ghanaian promoters in terms of promotional content and powerups which is the foundation on which the promosteem community is built with focus on investing back to the blockchain. The week saw a good number of Ghanaians actively engaged in great promotional activities which i reported, a good number of them have also been actively powering up which i reported in percentage with respect their total cashout. Within the week i also decided to start an initiative of making plagiarism defaulters known by the community as a way to deter others from committing same act. I intend to continue to do this from time to time whenever defaulters are found and i am optimistic that this will completely eradicate any plagiarist left from the Ghanaian community. Already i am happy to announce since this post that i am yet to encounter any of such acts again. Please find the report here;

As a country representative i had the privilege of becoming a greeter which give me the opportunity not only to welcome Ghanaian newbies on the blockchain but also supported through the steemcurator03 account curation system. As part of my duties as greeter i am to make a report covering this activity exclusively which i undertook and can be found in the link here;

As a country representative and moderator for the steem-ghana community i have the responsibility of of going through the community on a daily basis to find some of the best writeups to bring to light through the top 3 post initiative i introduced. This has brought many post to light that may otherwise may have gone unnoticed. This post also get support from my personal account in addition to the community account and my fellow reps. On the 14th and 18th of October i got the opportunity to use the steemcurator04 community support account for African countries to support Ghanaians on the blockchain. This i did alongside my fellow country representative @oppongk. Votes were shared based on the quality of content and effort of the steemian.

It was however rationed to ensure that enough votes goes around for everyone to get some. Post are normally voted within 30%-60% with extra given to post that deserve the extra. So basically we are looking at $1.5-$3 per person and extra for the extra. Please find a screenshot of some of the beneficiaries.

With a voting CSI of 14.2 and an effective power of 11,626.56 SP worth $0.21 at 100% manna i was able to use my personal account to visit 81 accounts within the time frame of this report to issue 122 upvotes. Within a combined effort with the steem-ghana account and my fellow CRs Ghanaians steemians can easily get atleast $1.00 on their post now and i am optimistic this will get better as the days progresses.

My role as a country representative and a promoter confers on me to lead by example. So to help guide members to reinvesting back into the blockchain i frequently powerup. With the introduction of the club5050 program i have already made my intentions known to the community of my commitment to it to help guide others to also make the effort. You may find that here.

Within the time frame of this report i was also able to powerup a total of 107 powerup. I am optimistic of the opportunity to be able to do more and guide others in the days to come.

Ghana holds a community meeting on Friday the 22nd of October, an official announcement would be made soon, the theme for the program is club5050, community of the month and more. Ghana radiotalk show also comes off on Sunday. 24th of October. Plans also in place to submit our community of the month application within the week.
