January Monthly Report - Italy Community Country Representative
Greetings to the Steemit Team and to all my colleagues CRs!
This is my monthly report regarding the activities of the Italy Community in January 2021.
Steemit Italy Community: the January 2021 data
In the first month of 2021, there was a turnover of users, even if basically, those who are present occasionally, have not completely abandoned our Community and the platform and sometimes come back to visit us.
On the other hand, the presence of users who write their posts every day (or almost every day) has increased and this has formed a small group that continuously populates our space, despite everything.
This is a comparison between the main data of the last month and the current one.

There is a very positive trend about subscribers, as we went from 696 to 837 members and we hope to reach soon the milestone of 1000 users.
About active users, I must say that we are confirming ourselves, because it's true they have decreased from 50 to 45, but we have to remember that December was a month with many active projects like Dear Steemians for example, that were followed by many users coming here from other communities.
From this point of view, January was a month off, because the available supports changed and therefore it was a bit more difficult to take the initiative to propose something, before understanding what the budget available to the community could be.
The absence of Tino @famigliacurione, who is away from us at the moment for personal reasons and whom we hope to have back here soon, also weighed.
In this less than ideal situation, keeping more or less the same number of active users was a good result in my opinion.
The rewards datum is extraordinarily positive, as we have doubled the result of the previous month, going from $365 to $718!!

Also in this month, @italygame has been our reference account for the support and information of users.
Having received a 4,000 SP delegation as a Steemit Awards prize, it has also taken on an even more important role in contents curation.
The @italygame Team continues to propose the BEST USER OF THE WEEK CONTEST. This is the initiative in which the best user of the community is rewarded with 5 SBD every week.
Moreover:
- a report of all the activities of the community is created. Curation
I continue to curate the best content published by Italian users.
I do it with my personal account @girolamomarotta, with my curation trail top.rewards.club (join it if you like!), with the @italygame trail and as curator of @symbionts - @ecosynthesizer team, when it's possible.
Every day, then, I report to the booming team 5 post in the dedicated spreadsheet.
We are supported by @booming03 account and sometimes by the @booming04 account too.
In addition, the Steemit Team has made available to me the account @steemcurator06, with which for 5 days a month (one a week plus an extra turn) I distribute upvotes to all the worthy active Italian users in the Community.
Right now, I believe we are ensuring good value rewards for our users and will do our best to continue like this or even better.
Our goal, also for this month, will be to become stronger, more structured and decisive for the growth of the Italian colony on Steem and of the whole platform too.
