This is a beautiful tropical climate plant that adapts perfectly to the cold, with characteristics that make it unique among other varieties of Central and South America from which it is native. Commonly known as the monstera genus which is characterized by being creeping or climbing, it usually reproduces under the crowns of large trees in the forest where the climate adapts perfectly to it and also does not give it direct solar rays, this being a point in his favor.🌿
One of its main attraction that this type of adansonia plant has is the particular way it grows, since at first glance it could be the same as any climbing plant but on the contrary, as it grows it changes in a surprising way. We can detail that in each of the photographs that we take below.🌿
☝️In this photograph we can notice the first branch or to say it in the following way a small bud of the plant as we can see does not have any type of holes that is the first stage of the many that you will see below, it is important to detail that this type As a plant it is also known as a Swiss cheese plant due to the large holes it has and its shape is like that of a heart.🌿
As it develops, each of the holes gradually comes out until it reaches its adult life, it has approximately more than 5 holes per leaf, it is characteristic for growing inside the houses, adapting perfectly to an indoor climate, too. Being a climbing plant, if it is left hanging somewhere in a house, it will have aerial roots, allowing it to be hooked from any place without problem, being this something totally natural for it.🌿
We can see perfectly in this photograph the development that the plant is having in its leaves, they lengthen towards the lower part of the stem in a hanging way and each one of the holes comes out, it is also known that having this type of hole in its leaves It is beneficial since it allows it to withstand the winds that occur in a tropical climate, being an important factor since it can stand firm and remain under the trees without any problem and with its roots It can be supported by the stems of the large trees.🌿
☝️This specimen that we see in the last photograph is one of our mother plants from here we have taken many others that we have available in our nursery the way to reproduce this type of plant is super easy under each leaf you must cut a stem with a scissors or Either with a previously disinfected knife, cut the stem and let them root in water for approximately a week until their roots come out, after they have already passed this process they can be sown without any problem in a soil with black peat that have a good drainage to avoid rotting the roots of the plant.🌿
