This morning I went to an indoor yard sale at the Wonderland Mall of the Americas, where some coin collectors were selling their extra coins. Our Gateway Coin Club sponsored the spaces and if you are a club member, your space was free. One of our club members was selling silver dollars for $17 each so picked up three of the nicer ones. He also had a nice Mexico Cinco Pesos from 1948 that he was asking $25 for. I offered him $22 for it and $51 for the three silver dollars and he took it. I collect the '48 cinco peso coin because this is the coin that artisans create the Texas Ranger badges from. The cinco peso coin is larger than a silver dollar so it's the perfect size for a Texas Star badge. Silver and gold are still on the rise so keep stacking my friends. 🙏
