Today's was the seventh anniversary of my mamma's passing and we went to Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery to leave some flowers. There were burials at all five stations so the cemetery was packed with cars and mourning friends and family members, color guards and taps players, and grounds keepers moving the caskets around. There were no words from my brother and sisters as we stared at mamma and daddy's headstone, remembering the night of her entering heaven while taps played in the background. That song always brings tears to my eyes, and today was no exception. We left the cemetery to go have a late lunch and remember the good times. Now go give a big hug to your family and tell them how much you love them.
