Between dreams of improvements and promises of revolution
You told me comrade and I was filled with emotion
I dressed in a vibrant color that made me blush
But it seemed like a good idea to take you to win
Well, being president, socialism was going to succeed
But it's been over twenty years now and we're worse than before
Venezuela is hurt and does not want more revolution
She wants to be left alone to heal her red wounds.
