Around 2015 we ventured as a family to make a surprise trip to a family very close to my paternal grandparents, who knew each other since they were little and made a very good friendship. We could go by omnibus, but we decided to do it by private car, so we could return at the time we wanted and not depend on a bus.

They knew each other since they studied in high school and from there the friendship lasted until university. They have lived in Naricual, on the outskirts of Barcelona, for as long as I have known them. The grandfather in his best moments went every two weekends, generally went on Saturdays and returned on Sunday, sometimes he spent a day there, sometimes he came the same day, it all depended on the gentleman with whom he always went, if I remember correctly I think he has a direct relative in that area.

When he had to leave this world, we found out that grandpa used to play dominoes and cards, which is not bad, but he also used to drink alcoholic beverages, hahaha, since they told us that we understood why he liked to come so much on the weekends. That day we were going to leave early, but we had the doubt whether people would be awake or not when we arrived, for that reason, we left at 9:00am, there are three ways to enter Naricual, one is by the bridge that is after the Aladin hotel, and the other is a little ahead of the old Sigo that is in Barcelona.

The road was quite clear of cars and tankers or private trucks, usually there is usually a little traffic. The day was a bit cloudy and pleasantly cool, the sun came out on the road, but by midday it began to cloud over. At about 4 o'clock we had to leave because it had started to rain a bit considerably, but it was in certain parts, about 30 minutes, everything was dry, then we went through a stretch and it was wet but it was not raining.
