Theme: Eraser

An eraser is a tool that is used to clean up a work that has previously been prepared, and I am referring to that rubber mass that is found on the tips of pencils, and that we use to make a word or a stroke disappear that we have done when we want to correct something. It is a wonderful invention that makes me reflect on which eraser they used in prehistoric times or how they did to correct the mistakes they made when they made lines that they did not like. I'm not sure but I think they left that painting or drawing that way and started a different one, or maybe they just put a stud on it. This is something that I want to ask any anthropologist friend who will surely be able to answer me this interesting size, they are specialists in these curious things, and surely what I tell them will get them to investigate what the drafts were that were used in human history.

It is interesting to see how humans create tools to correct what we do, this shows intelligence and the need to improve ourselves, the desire for evolution that we have as a species, that is engraved in our nature.

But it also allows other questions such as knowing what will happen when one day we manage to perfect all that "draft" that we have, will we continue in an eternal search to improve ourselves or will we simply remain satisfied with what we have already achieved?

I bet on the 2nd option, to continue investigating, it is something that is innate in every human being, and I believe that in about 10 generations we will have a highly developed world, we will be very advanced, and perhaps technology has even been invented to allow our bodies to live longer and that those of us who have already died can continue to exist in a normal way, although the concept seems a bit scary.

And these were my reflections for today's freewrite.

Note: This story is a figment of my imagination, written for the daily freewrite initiative.

I hope you enjoyed it.

This is not a prompt given by @mariannewest or did I miss a prompt? (is possible I better check it).

Erasers... the only ones I used is what we call 'knead gum' meant for fountain pens I heard. No idea if it still exists. We kneaded it and once it became soft you could use it to stick posters against your wall.

I think this lady marches to her won drum. )
