A Whole day Trip to Ibeno Beach ⛱️⛱️
August is my highest memorable month in 2024 because l have enjoyed lot of activities that gladdened my heart. 24th August 2024 turned another great memorable day I have. On the said date, we had our annual meeting of all Kingdom Hall's Maintenance Trainers (MNT) with Field Representative in Akwa Ibom State. The meeting was held at Ibeno Local Government Area here in Akwa Ibom State.
Kingdom Hall Maintenance Trainers are set of individuals that volunteered to carry out Facility Evaluation Visit (FEV) at kingdom halls of Jehovah's witnesses assigned to them. At there they will trained all the users of the facilities to carry out all the maintenance tasks by themselves. The same is done at other places we have kingdom halls in the whole wide world which helps in promoting a good maintenance culture and standard of our facilities. Every year by year, the state field representative will organize an annual meeting for all MNTs in his region. This year, the training was held in Ibeno here in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.
Ibeno is one of the popular local government in our state that is thickly populated because of it's natural endowments. It has a larger beach for recreational activities and relaxation center. It is also where crude oil is drilled. A lot of fishing works is going on there as well farming. From Uyo town to Ibeno is just a two hour drive on a normal speed.
To meet up going with the group, I woke up early by 4am to carry out my morning routines, prepare my family breakfast and baby's food (her breakfast and lunch) because we didn't want to take her along.
Our breakfast was jollof rice and beans but we took some pawpaw as fruit before our breakfast. My mother and my baby were still sleeping during my preparation for departure while hubby iron our clothes and my mother will be the one taking care of my baby for the day.
We ordered Bolt to meet up with others at the departing venue to move as a group. A coaster ride and other private cars was arranged for easy immediate move. All the MNTs in Uyo were moving the same time.
By 9:00am we begin our journey to Ibeno Local Government and we had a good journey mercies down to the destination by some minutes after 11:00am because of traffic congestions on the road. Every other groups from different departing centers arrived at a right time. I was excited to see beautiful face and get to interact with all maintenance trainers in Akwa Ibom State as a whole.
I miss her for 3years seeing her was a pleasure.

There was a lot of pleasantries and funs with our beloved brothers and sisters. We had one hour motivational Bible discussion and interviews from different brothers and sisters. We were highly encouraged to continue our work despite challenges we are facing.

The talk strengthen our faith and increase our bond for our brothers and sisters in the whole world. I have learnt great lessons from different people experience. It was really a nice and lovely moment.
Our hosts (brothers and sisters at Ibeno) did so well to prepare a healthy delicious lunch, one of my favourite meals, fried rice with chicken and salad. They also prepared Africa white soup that goes with swallow (foofoo and garri). I go for rice while my husband enjoy white soup with carry. Guys! Men likes swallows!😀.

The meals was very delicious and everyone was served to satisfaction. A heartfelt thanks was expressed to all the Kitchen staff and everyone there for their effort and hospitalities.
We closed at kingdom hall with prayer. We were 111 in attendant attending the programme.
There is an adage that says... "worked without play makes Jack a doll Boy". It was our play time, we all headed to Ibeno Beach ⛱️.
Pure crystal clear water.
Have you ever been to beach around you? Ibeno beach is one at our end. Here is were you can catch so much fun with your family, friends and love ones.
Ibeno Beach is beautiful place that has a crystal clear waters, vast expanse of sandy shores, and stunning sunrises and sunsets. I was thought that it is the longest beach in West Africa.
Apart from Ibeno Beach being naturally endowed, it's an ideal destination for travel lovers, it offers a wider range of activities that suit people of all ages, interests, and abilities.
On our arrival we were divided into groups some people carry swimming, horse riding, snorkeling, volleyball, and kayaking. It was a lovely moment where by different individuals were given an opportunity to showcase your vibes.

Some children played sandcastle in the beach. It was memorable moments for them to see horses, ocean and splashing water for the first time.
Since, l didn't carry my little princess along, l make a video for her and my mother to see the Beach. They also enjoy the pristine beauty and thrilling activities that was going on there.
We enjoyed different sort of drinks, snack, prepared snail, coconut water and bush meat. It was a great adventure.We later moved from there by 5pm and arrived home by 7pm.

My baby was still awake to welcome us, we freshen up and share how we spent our day with our family members. After the moment, everyone retired to bed.
We had a memorable and a successful day. Thank So much for reading my diary.
