I am thankful to steem for betterlife for organizing this amazing contest which I liked the most. Most of the time we used plastic bottles and then throw them away after one-time use. These plastic bottles are harmful to our environment as they contain many harmful chemicals which can be health hazardous for us.

So, we should recycle such plastic items to make them useful again and play our role in cleaning our environment. Today I will share how I make a beautiful basket from plastic bottles. It can be used for many purposes.

I need the following things to make a basket through a plastic bottle.

• Plastic bottle
• Scissor
• Glue
• Paper Craft in three colors orange pink and yellow
• Beads
• Marker

Step 1

I take a clean bottle dry it and mark a line with the help of a marker. Cut the bottle up to mark as shown in the picture.

Step 2

In step two I used a craft sheet and measure the circular area of the bottle and cut the sheet. Then apply the gum to this sheet and fixed it to the lower side of the bottle. It gave a good look at the bottle. It was now looking beautiful.

Step 3

In the next step, I take a one-inch-wide yellow sheet and apply it above the bottom line, similarly applying a one-inch sheet towards the upper edge. It gave a very decent look to the basket.

Step 4

In the next step, I cut a one-inch wide sheet and cut its upper and lower edges little zig-zag shape and with the help of gum fixed it in the center of the basket.

Step 5

Then I cut a one-inch-wide sheet and make a basket holder strip and fixed it to the bottle on both sides with gum. Now, its look was quite amazing. I also make small flowers to attach on all stripes.

Step 6

I cut the heart shape card and fix it on different areas of the basket, for this I used a pink color card. For making it more attractive too I cut orange color flowers and fix them on different areas of the bottle where they gave good look.

Step 7

---

I used bread and with the help of gum apply it to the center of the flowers. Now, this was looking so good.

I used it for keeping my pens and pencils. You can also try it and play your part to save our environment.
