Where I live the peoples often call it the green mosquito. I noticed this insect often perched on the contrasting green leaves. Very fond of shady places and protected from bright light. This insect has a very attractive body color, the whole body is dominated by a metallic green color. I really like his head which has various colors like rainbow colors. The two transparent wings will also appear rainbow colors when receiving light reflections.

This insect belongs to the mosquito species, but this green mosquito has a body size almost the size of a fly and has long legs. They often appear in the afternoon and are often found in gardens or flower gardens in search of fruit juice and flower nectar as their food. I didn't face much difficulty when taking pictures of this insect, because I noticed that the green mosquito never evaded humans, only that its movements were slightly active but still circling there.

This green insect is also often encountered in the environment close to humans. However, this green mosquito does not attack humans or bite like mosquitoes in general. This insect does not create conflict with humans in the slightest, on the contrary, this green mosquito is beneficial for the environment because it plays a role in helping the balance of natural ecosystems through pollination of flowering plants.
