Introduction

In a way to promote steem in my university, I.e the Federal University Wukari here in Taraba State Nigeria, I have organised a 3 days Recruitment and Intensive Training program which will be starting on 14th June being Monday to 16th of June being Wednesday.

Reasons for Organizing such a program

The reason for embarking on this program is not far fetched. For the little time I have been in the steemit blockchain, I discovered a whole lots of issues associated with the new comers. People don't know what to do when they come into the platform. Lots of issues like where to get latest update, latest contest, plagiarism issues and a whole lot of other issues which I can not possible mention now.

Areas that the program tends to cover

Day 1

• Introduction to steemit
• Signing up of New Users

Day 2

• Introduction to community
• Hiw to make quality post
• Understanding the various steemit keys

Day 3

• How to invest in steemit (SP)
• Overview of all the achievement task 1-6
• How to earn in steemit

It is important to mention here that this training has become a necessity as a whole lot of issues and complain has been heard over the months concerning plaigarism and other ill word which the platform does not support. When people are not properly educated about the platform, we tend to address issues on daily basis but once we properly training people we will have the best out from them.

Fliers and T-Shirt that will be used for the promotion

In a way to promote steemit, I was able to produce 150 pieces of fliers which cost me #9000, which is equivalent to 45 steem following the current price of steem. The images below shows the fliers.

In addition to that, I was able to produce 4 pieces of T-shirt. 2 of which are white in colour and the other 2 are black in colour. The four T-Shirt cost the sum of #12,000 which is equivalent to 60 steem following the current price of steem. The image below shows the images of the T-shirt.

More plans for the future

I am believing that this program will enable me recruit a good number of people in to the steemit platform here in federal university wukari, and when that is done, we will become much in population hence we can embark on other program like outreach and also visiting of hospitals and orphanages. I also tend to to produce exercise book which will be distributed to secondary school students as a means to advertise steemit.
