Introduction

New price of goods and services in a grocery store is increasing day by day and it's quite alarming that money keep depreciating everyday and income is constant.
Hello friends, hope you all are doing well, will be talking about my $20 purchase which is about NGN12,800 in my country.

Having this amount, I will make a budget of food for a week. The budget of getting some food stuffs to make a pot of stew and also getting some provision at the grocery store.
Dividing my budget into two, I will use $10 to get some provision at the grocery stores.

Getting to the grocery store I will buy golden morn which cost $1.7 which is NGN1100 for one.

I will buy two cabin biscuit which will cost $1.5 which is NGN1000.

I will buy peak milk which will cost $3.5 which is NGN2000.

I will get some kellogg which cost $6.25 which is NGN4000.
My grocery shopping have eaten up my $10 budget then I will head to the market to purchase some food stuffs with my remaining $10
Getting to the market, I purchase the following

• Rice which is $3.9 which is NGN2500 in my country currency
• Sachet tomatoes which cost $0.78 which is NGN500.
• One crate of egg which cost $3.1 which is NGN2000.
• Fresh tomatoes cost $0.78 which is NGN500.
• Protein preference beef which cost $1.5 which is NGN1000.
• Fresh pepper which cost $0.78 which is NGN500.
  My $10 is already exhausted in getting this foodstuffs from the market.

Conclusion

I tried to manage the money in making the above purchase at the expense of food items being expensive, I try to make my budget fit in to my most pressing needs which is food. I forfeit to buy some clothing items, from my scale of preference it's part of my needs but getting some food items is my pressing needs.
