One Unit of Wooden House Burns Down in Jeunieb District, Bireuen.

A fire disaster occurred in Dusun Muda Dalam, Village (Gampong) Lampoh U, Jeunieb District, Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province, Sunday, 3/11/2024.

One unit of wooden house burned down along with its contents, the disaster occurred at around 02.30 WIB. The house belongs to Saimanuddin Yusuf (40 years old) which he lives in with his wife and three children. There were no fatalities in the disaster, and there were also no items that could be saved.

The Head of the Bireuen Regency Disaster Preparedness Cadet Coordinator Forum (Tagana) Zulfikar in the disaster report release said that according to information the fire quickly grew and burned the building.

At the time of the incident the owner of the house was still fast asleep, suddenly woke up because of the hot temperature due to the fire that burned the house. Knowing that there had been a fire, the homeowner and his family immediately saved themselves outside the house and asked for help from the surrounding community.

The condition of the house was burnt and leveled to the ground and only zinc was left, the rest was all burned down. Zulfikar said.

When the fire broke out, the fire immediately flared up quickly, a number of residents immediately reported it to the Simpang Mamplam Bireuen Fire Department Post, two fire engines arrived at the location, but the house had already burned down because the condition of the house was made of planks so it was easily flammable.

The house was occupied by Saimanuddin with his wife Khamsiah (35 years old) and three children, namely Dikaul Hamdi (14 years old), Zakiati (10 years old) and Muhammad Habibie (5 years old).

Saimanuddin, one of the underprivileged residents in the village and hopes for government attention and assistance.

The source of the fire and the motive for the fire are still unknown.
