I have not about thought about such kind of concept of using solar energy for the betterment of the community. just about ten years back solar energy was installed in my house as well. but the project you are discussing if we can utilise it for the mining some Bitcoin, then it will be a great project for helping social and undeveloped community.
Great that you were able to install solar for your house! It is something that I really look forward to doing some day.
The project is NOT mining Bitcoin with the solar energy. You invest in solar energy to power schools and businesses, but your lease of the cells/power is repaid in Bitcoin instead of the local fiat currency.
