Christmas is almost here and the traditional black cake cannot be missing from your table✨

Ingredients:
🔸1 cup butter
🔸1 1/2 cup sugar
🔸3 cups self-rising flour
🔸1 tsp vanilla
🔸6 eggs
🔸1 / 4 cup cocoa powder
🔸1 pinch of salt
🔸3 tsp baking powder
🔸3 / 4 cup liquid milk
🔸1 / 4 cup rum
🔸1 cup of granulated paper
🔸½ cup of: peeled, toasted and chopped almonds, peeled, toasted and chopped hazelnuts, candied fruits, prunes.
🔸1 tsp of cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg

preparation:
🎄In a medium saucepan, heat the rum and the paper. Bring to a boil and remove from heat. Let it rest for 5 minutes.
Add the almonds, hazelnuts, candied fruits and prunes to the still hot liquid. Let it marinate for at least a day.

🌲Strain the macerate, reserving the fruit and 1 cup of the liquid. Beat the butter well with the sugar until it is creamy, add the vanilla, the egg yolks, the cup of the mashing liquid, the cloves, the cinnamon and the nutmeg. Then, sift the flour with the baking powder and cocoa powder, and add it little by little, alternating with the milk. Besides, mix the fruits with a little flour and add them to the mixture. Besides, beat the whites until stiff and mix everything in an enveloping way without beating.

🎄Pour the mixture into a greased and floured mold and bake in a preheated oven at 180º for 1 hour or until a toothpick comes in clean. Let cool and remove from the mold and decorate it to your liking.
