How To Prepare Delicious Spicey "Goru Bhuna" (Beef Curry) With Potatoes by @mahirabdullah || Bangladeshi's Favourite Food

Hello Everyone! I'm @mahirabdullah from Bangladesh 🇧🇩. Today, I'm here with another mouthwatering food's recipe. I'm going to share the recipe of one of the most favourite food For the Bangladeshis, which is "Goru Bhuna" (Beef Curry). But people from other countries can easily prepare this dish.

Ingredients

  • Meat 1.5 Kilogram
  • Onion (Sliced) 1.5 Cup
  • Oil ( Half Cup)
  • Cinnamon ( Two Sticks)
  • Green Chilli ( 5/6 Pieces)
  • Potato ( 5-6 Pieces)
  • Ginger (2 Tbs)
  • Garlic Paste (1.5 Tbs)
  • Cardamon ( 4 pieces)
  • Cloves (4 Pieces)
  • Cumin (1 Tbs)
  • Bay Leaves (3/4 Pieces)
  • Turmeric
  • Salt ( According to the amount)

Cooking Process

Step 1:-

First one and a half kg of beef should be cut in medium size. When choosing meat, there should be a combination of fat, bone and solid meat

Cut 8-10 onions into small pieces. Onions should be used according to the amount of meat. Also take 5-6 green chillies.

Cut 5-6 potatoes into fairly large size. In this case also potatoes should be used according to the amount of meat.

Take Ginger paste, garlic paste, cinnamon, cardamom, cumin & bay leaves according to the ingredients. These are very important ingredients for cooking. These are used to enhance the taste of cooking

Pour half a cup of oil into the stove first and wait until the oil is hot. Then leave the onion, chilli and salt in the stove. Then keep stirring for 5 minutes

Leave the meat in the stove after 5 minutes. Then add Ginger paste, garlic paste, turmeric cinnamon, cardamom, cumin to the meat one by one. A small amount of water can be added to it. Leave it like this for 10 minutes with the lid on

After 10 minutes, leave the potatoes in the stove. Potatoes should not be given at the beginning of cooking. If you add potatoes at the last moment, you will get more taste. If more water needs to be added at this time, cold water should not be used in any way, as it will harden the meat. It is better to use hot water for this

Final Step:-



After adding the potatoes, cover with a lid for another ten minutes. Occasionally remove the lid and stir the meat. After 10 minutes the cooking process of spicy beef curry with potatoes is completed. Then we can serve the food in a bowl.
