🍻 8° Brewing's Citra Single Hop IPA Review 🍻
It's Saturday and time for a cold one!
We had some lovely blue skies over the weekend here in Ireland. There was off course some heavy rain showers in between, but in true Irish style I cracked open the barbecue anyway and cooked up a feast and washed it down with a few of these lovely bad boys.
8° Brewing's Citra Single Hop IPA
What they say
Citra, with its fruity, juicy aroma and flavour, is one of our favourite hops. To showcase it, we’ve used a simple, yet elegant, malt body which puts Citra’s fabulous tropical flavours on display: think ripe lychee, passionfruit and guava. Sweet and tart, with a gloriously juicy mouthfeel.
Can Art
I like the colours here. They work well together. Its not off the wall or funky like some IPA and Craft beers you see. I do like it though and the look of the can suits the hoppy taste explosion.
The brewers are an Australian bloke and a dude from New Zealand Brewing their beers in Ireland and that's what those symbols on the can represent.

Thoughts
I poured it into my favourite beer glass. It pours a medium amber colour, with a frothy white head, which lasted well with fair lacing. It had a smooth sweetbitter aftertaste which I like in a beer. Aromas of malt, orange, pomelo, passion fruit, faint pine resin and lycee. Quite a sessionable beer and one I liked a lot.
