This simple chart should be shown to any country contemplating banning Bitcoin
Sounds doable in theory, but very difficult in reality
Several places have talked about banning bitcoin recently. We have China and India both mulling over and already implementing to some degree a bitcoin/crypto ban.
However, it's not easy to actually pull off.
Here's what happened when Egypt banned bitcoin:

The ban sure didn't do what it was supposed to now did it?
Where there's a will there's a way.
You made a valid point sir @jondoe , the sooner government accept the fact that bitcoin and other cryptocurrency is the future and is here to stay the better we all feel...

... unless everything is black market... then it is just called the market.
The govern-cement is just the biggest, most corrupt gang.
Corruption doesn't stop corruption.
So, they might as well go around telling people to stop breathing for all the good it will do.
Ha, I wouldn't go that far, but I do agree that it will be very hard to stop.
