Good morning dear friends. Today I want to introduce you to my last manual job. Wendy. The turtle poses a plant that will be forever immortalized on the blockchain. This post is intended for all people who are passionate about doing things for themselves.

A plant pose designed for those homes where children live, and they want to make the garden a fun attraction. The idea arises from the need to build a "terrarium" for "cactus" plants, something I have in mind for a few months, and I want it to be colorful and a lot of fun.

Step by step construction

Once we have learned about the materials needed for construction, we can start preparing the material. In a container we are going to incorporate five measures of cement and the same proportion of sand, it is essential to mix both materials well to form the adhesive paste.

With the desired uniformity between sand and cement, we add a necessary amount of water to form a smooth mass that allows to drain well, the texture must be quite liquid.

Before placing the material in the plastic, we must prepare it, we smear the interior with oil, with the help of a sponge we distribute it well on all its walls. Once smeared, we put the plastic bag inside, taking into account to cover the walls well.

Once the plastic has been conditioned, we are in a position to start loading the material. As we do so, we lightly tap the cement to lower it evenly, filling the necessary amount to cover the cavity of the plastic. We let dry for 72 hours.

To remove the mold you have to make sure that the piece is dry, once it is removed it is time to start preparing the cement with which we will build the pieces that will make the turtle shell, we put a measure cement in a container and add the same amount of sand, mix well and add water to form a solid paste.

The part must be clean, now is a good time to clean. Wet the parts where we are going to place the dough that will make the details of the shell, it is vital to moisten the base well, with the help of a brush we wet the surfaces. Source: Family Album

We take the prepared dough and start by shaping them, then add to the base, these should not be uniform, rather uneven as is the appearance of the shell.

With the help of our hands we shape the dough, and simulate a real shell, they must be patient, let the pasta dry before continuing to add to the base, otherwise it is likely to come off.

Once we have finished shaping the turtle's shell, we let it dry for 24 hours.

When the piece is solid and dry, it is time to clean and prepare the surface to incorporate the color, remember that this step is very important for the paint to stick to the material. They can wash it with water and let it dry if they wish.

Once clean we can start painting, we mix the colors well, I recommend using several brushes depending on the color and the place where they are going to paint, use fine strokes for small surfaces.
