How many times do we celebrate Mother's Day in a year?
It's another Mother's Day celebration and I use this medium to celebrate every mothers out there most especially my precious mother and my beautiful wife.
As we are celebrating the Mother's Day, a lot of people are confused and asking how many times do we celebrate Mother's Day in a year
Let me start by saying that mothers are precious and they are worth celebrating everyday of the year. So, if everyday is tagged Mother's Day, it's worth it.
Having saying that, let's me make it clear that Mother's Day is being celebrated once a year but the date differs in each country.
The different in the date that each country celebrate there Mother's Day created the confusion for most people especially in my country, Nigeria.
In Nigeria, the official date for the Mother's Day celebration for the year 2020 was Sunday, 22 March and not Sunday, 10 May
Nigeria celebrates Mother's Day the same date as United Kingdom (UK) and for this year 2020,it was celebrated on Sunday, 22nd of March. Some other countries including the United States of America are celebrating the Mother's Day today and as we all know, we borrow a lot of thing from America including their political system and that is why we see some people celebrating Mother's Day today.
Also, some churches that borrow doctrines for the United States of America also celebrates the Mother's Day in the same day that America celebrate. I attend a Baptist Church and we celebrate our Mother's Day the day with USA.
