THE ONGOING PROJECT IN MY STATE || Akwa Ibom, Nigeria.
Akwa ibom is indeed the land of promise. This is because there are so many wonders of creations and inventions. creations ranging from the fish in the sea and all the creatures that exist in the waters to the creatures that survive on the land ranging from the smallest ant to the mighty and great elephant.
I won't forget the creatures that live in the air and tree tops ie birds. inventions which are man-made such as buildings household item craft and art, etc. Eastern draws people all around the world to come into my state making the state one of the most tourist visited State in Nigeria.
Akwa ibom state is undergoing series of projects like the modernization of ring road lll with the state-of-the-art roundabout road project Ibom ultra modern market ibom deep seaport, etc.
The project I would like to say something about is the Ibom ultra modern market located in Mbiabong Etoi in Uyo, Akwa ibom state. This will be the biggest and largest market in akwa ibom state and Nigeria as a whole. The proposed land is estimated many square kilometres of land. Market is as old as man.
When man discovered that he cannot be an island of resources that's when he exchanges his own products for other products from someone else. That is how market started. Nowadays, goods are bought with a medium of exchange called money.
If one have a review on local market in Uyo, one will discover a lot of things. The local market is always on hygienic but based on "no other choice" people still need things there especially food items.
Considering all these the Ibom ultra modern market will maintain the high level of hygiene in the environment and on the product making it safe for humans.
The construction company handling this project is Hensek company.
The project is funded by the state government. The market is proposed to be built in block of flats in an enclosed land. Currently the market has more than two blocks of flat erected and more or it is still under construction.
When the project is completed, the building will be rented to individuals at the rate of 3 million naira which is approximately 21,486 steems. But the market will be controlled by the state government. They will also be a high rate of importation and exportation in the state because of the market.
I have full assurance that this market will boost the state economy.
