My Neighborhood Watch #42 - Reporting Events Around us

My neighborhood watch, reporting event around us, am reporting an event which took place in ogba, ikeja Lagos State.

This is actually a serious event that a life was lost which is so sad to hear.

Now let me narrate the story one after the other. My name is still @mhizta, from Nigeria, welcome one again to my blog.

Ending of last month, that's a month of March, something happened which affected everyone in the surrounding, on the 12 march, 2024, at 11pm noon, some of the hausa boys were pursuing one guy at night, the guy ran and entered the estate(oluwale estate). You know at 11pm most people have gone to sleep, so they pursue the guy inside the estate the but along the way , they lost him.

Now, there's a one quiet person which everyone knows on the estate, he's so calm and hardworking, he help people to do dread in the estate. unluckily he was drunk after smoking and he came out for fresh air because there was no light, but unfortunately for him, he came out to meet his end. He met those Fulani boys and they mistaken him to the person they were pursuing.

Ladies and gentlemen, that's how the man was stabbed with a dagger. They stabbed him at the back and they escaped immediately, before the alarm was rest, they couldn't catch the suspect that night.

The man was taken to the hospital but the hospital refused to admit him because of police report. Is that not wickedness? That's how the man's life was ended.

After the man's deaths, all the hausa both men and woman were arrested by the police. But, till today, the real suspect has not been caught, what a pity.

The next day, all the shop surrounding the estate was shut down or close including my shop too. We couldn't open or sell market throughout the week, the police were patrolling everywhere with Hilux in different departments. Since they couldn't catch the suspect, the oluwale boys make sure that anybody that look like mallam(aboki, hausa) is arrested immediately, throughout that week no hausa person able to sell or do anything in ogba, most of them selling inside the estate had to lock themselves inside room for complete 3 days.
Those ones selling onion and peppers a long the road, all their market were scattered on the road, everyone was ready to revenge the man's death but the suspect up till today have not been caught.

The police has taken the case ensuring to find the culprit as soon as possible, and hopefully the culprit will be brought to justice.

I know that what you're about to ask is, how is the area now? After the police has taken the case, everyone is just observing, we don't shade much market outside and we're very vigilant incase of temple run.

I can only say it's an unexpected event because he came at the right place at the wrong time and also, this matter of saving someone life without police report is really scary. Why do some hospital so wicked when it comes to human life, just because of police report you allow someone to die?

This is actually the sad event that touches everybody and I will like to use this medium to invite @aspiya, @enomzy001, @wilmer1988, @googybest and @saintkelvin17 to participate in the neighborhood watch.
