The Diarygame - How My Team Emerged Victorious On The First Game 18-09-22

Hello friends,

It is a wonderful privilege to appear before this great community today to relate how I spent my day and won my first game in the onala tournament held in Nigeria.

Before I proceed any further, I will love to extend my warm greetings to the admins and moderators of this great community.

I also use this medium to appreciate them for their hardwork and tireless efforts in making this community grow.

Today, I will love to relate how I spent my Sunday and concluded it with a victory in my football game.

MORNING

Being a sunday morning, I knew I had to go to church so I hurriedly took my bath after I said my morning prayers, then I brushed my teeth, prepared a light meal to eat.

After that, I picked my already ironed cloth and my neatly polished shoes and put them on, then I hurriedly went to the kingdom hall.

Since I am one of the workers at the kingdom hall, i have to go very early so I can arrange some things before the arrival of others.

I got to the kingdom hall quite early and I immediately opened the windows, clean the chairs and arranged the sound system.

Then people started coming and I was happy to see them smile as they sit on the already dusted seats.

Then the program started and we all payed attention, the speaker spoke about the unnecessary pursuit of wealth.

He explained how the love of money has led many out of the faith and we also considered wonderful measures we can take to prevent the love of money from growing within us.

After the sermon, we switched to the other part of our meeting and this part went perfectly well.

In the second session, we discuss how we can assist our lord Jesus in the preaching activities and it was so refreshing.

Then after an hour of discussion we dismissed the meeting, then we started greeting one another.

AFTERNOON

When we dismissed, I headed home to prepare for my upcoming league.

On my way home, I began to feel nervous because this is my team's first game in the tournament.

When I got home, I freshened up, had something light to eat and then assisted my mother at the farm.

After we were done with the farm work I ensured I had enough rest before the match time.

EVENING

After taking a nap, I woke up, got my kits ready and headed to the field as it was almost time for the tournament.

Amongst my team mates, I was the first to get to the field, then I waited for them to come.

They eventually came and so did our officiators and our opponents.
We then did a little warm up as a team before entering the field.

Before we were allowed to play, the referee ensured that our finger nails were very low an that we had no metal instrument on us.

The game then began and we played very well, in the first half we scored a goal against our opponents.

The first half lasted for 45mins, then we went on a 15mins break.

After the break, we were invited to complete the game of which we began again.

Then we were awarded a free-kick which led to our second goal.
After we scored two against our opponents, this weakened them as they believe the time won't be enough for a come-back.

The game eventually ended and we came out with the victory of 2-0.

I am really happy we came out victorious, our next game will be on Saturday 24th 2022, I can't wait but until then I have to keep training.
