Money and Marriage.

It has been a while I participated in the activities of this community and I am here today to participate in the contest hosted by a moderator @manuelhooks.
I wouldn't want to waste any more time before diving into the topic of the day.
Is money central to family happiness? If you think it is, please explain how but if you think it's not, please tell us what could be.
Saying money is central to family happiness is saying without money a family cannot be happy.
Personally, I don't think money is central to family happiness but money plays a very important role in the happiness of a family.
Love is more important than money in the family setting but without money, the family won't feel complete because a vital contribution to family happiness is missing.
With the presence of money, a family will be able to afford the basic necessities of life and this will make them happy but I feel love is more important to the contribution of a happy family.
What are some common money related issues among couples in your area? Does this have any cultural undertone?
The most popular money related issue in my area is the inability of parent to sponsor their children through school.
This is such an unhappy sight to behold, seeing children hawk food for their parents just to be able to feed.
These are children that should be in school learning but because of lack of money, they are on the street hawking
How will you deal with a situation where a spouse feels that Your money is our money but my money is my money.
This is a common situation where I live in, where the woman feels the man's money is hers and her money is hers alone.
This is not a pleasant thing to see but whenever I'm called upon such, I will make the spouse Understand that they are now one, they have been bounded together when they exchange vows.
Thus, I will explain to them to kill such thought and work together as a happy family.
In your opinion, is a wife obligated to submit her salary to her husband at the end of each month? Or should it be the other way round.
In my opinion, a wife is not obligated to something her salary to her husband at the end of each month and neither is the husband obligated to submit his salary at the end of the month.
If they are both working class, then the husband can give the wife some money for feeding and upkeep, if he can. This is the normal duty if a husband in the household as this will earn him the respect and love of his wife.
The woman's money can only be used to assist the family in times of need.
Why is money such a big issue in marriage lately? what measures do you [or will you] take to mitigate this problem.
Money is such a big issue in marriage today because money is very important for the happiness of the home.
Without money the fail won't be happy as they might lack the necessities of life.
To mitigate the problem of marriage, I will love the wife to be understanding and if possible she should try to earn a living herself and mot depend on the salary of her husband.
When both parties are working, it will be a lot easier to tackle any money related issue.
