Moringa or Sajne is a special type of vegetable. Once upon a time, the sajne tree grew carelessly in the farmer's house. Though it was valued during the season, this tree had no importance at other times of the year. Now the whole world has become aware of the versatile qualities of the sajne tree.
Sajne leaves, flowers, fruits, bark, root, and tree gum are all very valuable. These use fill the lack of nutrients in the body and keep the body healthy.
Moringa is a tree of a genus of the Moringaceae family. The Moringa tree is variously called the Drumstick tree in some parts of the world and The Miracle tree by some experts. Moringa is known as sajne in our country. The raw long fruit of Moringa is eaten as an excellent vegetable. The leaves are eaten as a beneficial vegetable. It is drought tolerant and a plant of the main summer region. Propagation is done through cuttings and seeds, but in our country, propagation is usually done through cuttings or vegetative propagation. The Moringa tree is usually 40/50 feet tall, its wood is very soft and the bark is gummy.
Moringa can help treat diabetes, inflammation, infections, joint pain, heart problems, Relieves fatigue and exhaustion, and even cancer. The plant is full of calcium, protein, vitamin C, iron, carotene, amino acids, and antioxidants. The leaves of the plant contain seven times more vitamin C than oranges and 15 times more potassium than bananas.

  • Vitamin B2 0.02 mg
  • Vitamin C- 45 mg
  • Mineral salts - 1.9 grams
  • Fiber - 4.8 grams
  • Food energy – 60 kcal.


Today I bring you this moringa or sajne recipe which will add a new dimension to your diet. A strong step towards recovery. First, let's take a look at what we need to cook this particular dish.

Necessary Materials

  • Moringa -500 grams
  • Potato -3 (small)
  • Onion -2 tsp (paste)
  • Mustard -2 tsp (paste)
  • Garlic -2 tsp (bata)
  • Chili – 1 tsp (powder)
  • Cumin seeds- 1 tsp (paste)
  • Turmeric – 1 tsp (power)
  • Onion chopped-2 (medium)
  • Green chillies – 6/7(sliced)
  • Mustard oil -70 (grams)
  • Salt - to taste

How to cook sajne data broth

First of all, we will wash the sajne and potatoes and drain the water. Now I will put oil in the frying pan, and when the oil is hot, I will add the chopped onions. If the onion is light in color, I will add garlic paste, onion paste, cumin paste, turmeric powder, chili powder, salt, and a glass of water. When it boils, I will cover it with potatoes for five minutes.
After five minutes, lift the lid and stir to see if it is cooked, and wait until the water dries up. I will keep stirring until the water is completely dry and add two glasses of water, now when it boils I will add the mustard paste. Now after boiling for 10 minutes, Sajne Data broth will be ready.
