SECS 8 Week 4: The mental health of a content creator
Writing is a hobby that has become a loyal friend in my life. Since childhood, I have been diligent in writing down my feelings in a few lines of writing in my life diary. My feeling was calm when I was holding a pen with a piece of paper on the table. It calms me down.
When writing has become a hobby, there will be no more tired and boring words created. Even I get uneasy when I don't publish posts for Steemit.
I am grateful to be surrounded by active and positive Steemians in Steemit who always publish their posts every day. This environment makes me never get bored to make posts. Indirectly they have motivated me to keep moving in their footsteps.
Creating content is not that difficult, we only need to first read some references from various sources, then think for a moment and imagine. I never tire of mentally creating content. Because I have created a special time for writing, evening and morning. Both of these times make ideas flow profusely.
Steemit has made my life more colorful. I learned a lot from Steemit about how to write well. Steemit has also taken me to study graphic design. Many positive things that I have obtained from Steemit are very valuable.
I am a Steemian who has a hobby of writing before joining Steemit. So it's not a mental burden for me when I don't get votes from Steemian friends and the Steemit team. Writing every day improves my writing skills tremendously.
When our posts are not appreciated, then our job is to evaluate and ask ourselves whether the quality of our posts is good, original, and of good quality. Do we interact with other users? Do we routinely do power-ups? And some others.
I'm sure that our commitment to Steemit will get us rewards from various parties. I say that based on the experience that I have been through for more than two years.
There are some tips that I want to convey to my Steemian friends through this post so that the mind remains calm in creating content, here are some of them;
Make a mind map (outline)
Outlining or writing an essay really helps us in writing. It makes us never lose ideas when writing. Because some writers will experience writer's block, and mind mapping is the solution. I always make a mind map before writing.Accompanied by snacks
Chocolate makes our minds calm. Every day, I do curation or other serious tasks from steemit, I always buy some stock of snacks to accompany me. I believe that a calm mind will be present when we enjoy the food we like.Listening to music
Writing and accompanying music is a complete package. Writing is the art of stringing words together to form a paragraph. Meanwhile, music is the art of conveying feelings through the rhythms that are created.
The three pins above keep my mind calm while completing posts for Steemit every day.

I would have loved to know more about your experience as a beginner. Given that you're a veteran and well rated blogger now, it is less likely that you feel some kind of discomfort when doing this, I think. However, your tips for writers are very nice. I wish I could buy snacks, I love snacks! I drink a cup of coffee when I'm writing. It doesn't help at all on the creative process, but it diminishes my anxiety.
