Weaving

The art of weaving is believed to have started and developed without any outside influence. The use of rope, roots, and rattan is the basis in the creation of handicrafts.

Weaving is one of the oldest traditional arts in the world. Weaving was imitated by humans from the way birds weave twigs into strong shapes.

Then humans develop it into a work of hand art. The art of weaving has become a hereditary tradition carried out in several areas, such as Aceh and South Sumatra.
