Today the sky has changed a lot, because a new time has come for us. As we watched, our old year came to an end and the new Bengali year began. This day is a very festive time for every Bengali people. Because at the end of the day, since it is a New Year's celebration of our own kind, I think it is a very emotional and loving celebration for us. And all in all, we celebrate this day a little differently, and that's what makes this festival so memorable. But there are many more reasons behind this, I will try to explain a little later.

However, this year's picture is completely different from other festive times. Because the month of Ramadan is going on at this time, due to which the festival is almost non-existent this time. However, I think the Bengali festival-loving nation and nothing can be tied to them. I believe that they will always be like them in any festival.

The festival is centered around the activities of our past life and the management of our livelihood and daily life, which is basically the Bengali feeling we have and it is basically on the first day of the month of Baishakh.

The Bengali year starts with the month of Baishakh as the English year starts with the month of January so the beginning of the month of Baishakh is considered as the New Year celebration of the Bengali nation and on this day the people of Bengali nation try to bring their own traditions and past events special. The life of our Bengali nation was agriculture-oriented and trying to highlight their livelihood, the Bengali people were really the people of last year. It was very simple but as the days go by, a lot has changed due to time.

It is true that many things have changed as a result of modernization in our lives and we have adapted ourselves to many things. But one thing to always remember is that one should never forget one's past and heritage. Because we are Bengalis, at the end of the day we have our own traditions which should be given priority. And with that, cultures should be maintained. Maybe every day we can't, that's the truth. If we maintain the culture one day in a year, there is no problem. Again, many say that there is no benefit in being a Bengali for one day. In fact, there will be differences, but I think it is wise to take the day well, without making any differences centered on the festival, reminding everyone of their own traditions.

Festivals belong to all, so we want to prove our tradition again by presenting our own national festival in front of everyone, that we are Bengalis. I wish all people to be beautiful, well and safe. This is my prayer at this festival.
