The Emperor (Apatura schrenckii)| 10% Beneficiary to shy-fox
I found this butterfly standing on the mountain road. It was first noticed flying faster around the bush before it finally made a short stop on this road. This typical butterfly is regarded as the fastest flier which sometimes troubled us to take pictures. During the daylight, this typical butterfly moves a lot, it flies faster, quick stop, and fly again. Top brownish-black, with the whitish and bluish picture, and rusty-brown spots on the front wings.
The rear wings are wide white sash with blue iridescent edges. The underside of the rear wings pale greenish-blue with a silvery sheen and green eyes. Seeing that, I managed to take its pictures with a DSLR plus extension tube so that I could see the real like of this white-brown butterfly that is rarely seen.
Known as Apatura schrenckii or commonly known as the emperors. The Apatura schrenckii is widely distributed across continents, commonly inhabits the bush, grassland, and meadow field. It comes from the family Nymphalidae, in the genus Apatura.
