Scarlet Red Waxcap Mushrooms

in Beauty of Creativity9 months ago

As the day was cloudy, I managed to explore the forest near the resident which was filled with decomposed stuff. It's great to see these red mushrooms grow on dried twigs that were still in good shape and color. These mushrooms were found after I spent some time walking around the wood, which straightly tempted me to take a couple shots. As we all know, mushrooms are also cultivated for medicinal properties to cure chronic bronchitis, coronary heart disease and cancer. Unlike the cultivated mushroom, this kind of mushroom grows wildly in woodland or sometimes we can find them in the bush, and remain untouchable. Having good shape made these mushrooms look elegant and charming which really made my day. ''Hygrocybe coccinea'', sometimes called the scarlet hood, scarlet waxcap or righteous red waxy cap, is a colourful member of the mushroom ''genus'' ''Hygrocybe''. The small bright red mushroom is a familiar sight in unimproved grasslands.
