Wednesday Walk and make me smile post - Walking through the mountains. - De paseo por las sierras.

This week I bring you some photos of the walk we took through Sierra de la Ventana with my daughter, since my wife is not leaving home to take care of our little girl who is about to be born these days and because she can not stand long trips by car . Although this wonderful place is 120 kilometers from our house, the trip is quite demanding due to the large number of trucks that travel the route at this time and make the trip take longer than expected.

Esta semana les traigo algunas fotos del paseo que hicimos por Sierra de la Ventana con mi hija, ya que mi esposa no está saliendo de casa para cuidar a nuestra pequeña que está por nacer por estos días y por que ya no aguanta viajes prolongados en auto. Si bien este maravilloso lugar queda a 120 kilómetros de nuestra casa, el viaje es bastante exigente por la gran cantidad de camiones que transitan en esta época la ruta y hacen que el viaje lleve más tiempo de lo esperado.

We left home at 10 in the morning and by 11.30 we had entered the mountain area where we took some beautiful photos. There we were exploring some small peaks a little over 140 meters high, where we could see the beautiful landscape that being the harvest time of the fields makes everything look more beautiful

Salimos de casa a las 10 de la mañana y para las 11.30 habíamos entrado en la zona serrana donde hicimos algunas lindas fotos. Allí estuvimos explorando un poco unas pequeños picos de no más de 140 metros de altura, donde podíamos contemplar el hermoso paisaje que al estar el época de cosecha de los campos hace que todo luzca más lindo.

After a nice walk up some small hills and contemplate a large eaglet, we decided to get in the car and go to the river to walk along its banks and try to find some raspberry plant to bring us home.

Después de una linda caminata subiendo algunos pequeños cerros y contemplar un aguilucho de gran tamaño, decidimos subirnos al auto e ir hacia el río para caminar por su ribera y tratar de encontrar alguna planta de frambuesa para traernos a casa.

After about 30 minutes of walking on the river bank we decided to rest and soak our feet to cool off.

Después de unos 30 minutos de caminar sobre la orilla del río decidimos descansar y poner nuestros pies en remojo para refrescarnos.

The departure was not very extensive since at 16 hours we undertook the return home to not leave my wife alone for a long time, but enough to recharge our energies of the river and the mountains.

La salida no fue muy extensa ya que a las 16 horas emprendimos el regreso a casa para no dejar a mi esposa sola por mucho tiempo, pero lo suficiente para recargar nuestras energías del río y las sierras.
