As I understand many flowers co-evolved with butterflies.
The butterflies are dependent on the flower and the flowers on the butterflies.
Unfortunately, as people muck up ecosystems with invasive species, we create problems for both the butterflies and the flowers.
Conservationists need to look at the entire ecosystem to protect the ecosystem.
