Greeting to you all my sewing students, welcome to another tutorial today I will be showing you how to cut and sew this beautiful gown

I folded the material into two I marked gown length, gown hip point, gown knee length and half length waist. Then I took the half length measurement at were I marked half length line , her half length is 36 so I divid the 36 by 6 then I divid it again by 2 then I marked it and add 2 inches for sewing allowance . The next thing is to mark the hip measurement so I divid the hip measurement by 6 her hip measurement is 48
So I divd it by 6 then I did it again by 2 After that I mark it and 2 inches for sewing allowance. The next thing is to have the knee measurement to have the knee measurement I minute 5 inches from the hip and have the knee measurement then I connect it together and cut it out you can see that in the picture below

The next thing is to cut the side I folded the material then I places the material on top of the fridge then I marked 2 inches in the half length then I marked 3 inches in the hip point after that I marked 2 inches again in the knee point then I connect it together and cut it out

the back

I folded the material into two then I places the middle part and I gave a curve shape then I add 2 inches for zip then I crude it to the zip and cut it out as you can see in the picture below

I folded the material into two bust point half length , under bust, and bust to bust then I took the bust measurement at were I mark bust point then I took the under bust measurement at were I marked under bust then I divid everything by 2 and add 2 inches allowance After that I cut it out as you can see in the picture below

I join the front together and the back back then I put zip After that I neaten the edges of the dress after that I mend the edges then I take her measurement . The next thing is to join the down part i join the center then I join the side together same thing at the back after that I pin them together I take the measurement the I trimmed out the lases and design it at the edges as you can see in the picture below

The selves

I cut this material in a curve shape then I use a hard stain and gum it to make it hard then I cut the Same material and neaten the edges of the pieces then I fixed it on the selves . This selves is call Bible selves
After fixing it on the selves this is how it looks like

Then I join it with the down side, this is the finish result
