Economics Importance of Palm Tree 🌴

Greetings from my family to you my beloved Steemit community, yesterday was very busy and also interesting, just relax and let have new knowledge on palm tree more and how we extract the red oil, and still generate money from it.

What is a palm tree? The palm tree is an economy tree with many important, first, the seed is planted garment and grows little by little producing crops that its owner benefits from for more than fifty-five years of existence, and from its seed to its growth, it generated income.

Some individuals plant the fruit just for sale while others buy the fruit and plant it for consumption, our grandparents plant it and use it for years, our father came, see their parents using it and then it pass down to them, and now we the grandchildren have grown up got married and have our children but still the palm trees are still standing strong.

The palm trees start producing after five to ten years, it begins with the little ones year after year, some twice a year, they can grow for a height of 20 fits, but when the palm fruits is ready, the cutter will cut it down, some cutter fall from the palm tree and lost their spinal cord some ever die but it did not stop other from cutting the fruits down.

When it is brought home our brother uses a cutlass to cut it into pieces, it will be covered for two days, then we will remove it from the fruit hole, and cook it for about 4 hours before taking it for grinding, after that, we use water to mix it then use a basket to remove the canals and cover, after doing that properly we put it back on fire

Because of the quantitive, it takes a longer time to boil, so much fire is required, after an hour of boiling the red oil will start coming up, then the fire will be reduced so that the oil can settle down, if the red oil settle down we can pack up the oil,

Red oil is used for cooking different varieties such as Jollof, egusi soup, and okra. most importantly red oil is used for our traditional foods without red oil our parents will not accept the food. the oil gives our parents higher income because red oil is expensive here in the North Africa it can be sold in a bit or buck, but the eastern produces the oil every seasons

After the oil is remove the one that is left will be used for the pig food, palm trees to me are very important because all that concern it, is to be used for one thing or the other, our four fathers use the tree as wood to refine their home, the palm leaf is used for Brom the palm tree also uses for palm wine that individuals drink on daily basis,

the palm wine is also saved as income because palm wine taper always sell it to their customers and it saved as medicine which our mother give their children for eye brightness

Palm canals are used for baby oil, and they save as cough medicine for newborn babies, we do eat the canal fruit and drink water, if food is not ready

The chaft is used for making fire, and the aches are manuals to the farmer, and can be use for washing pot the palm breaches are used for filters, also used for local beds, and tomatoes basket and hats for sun protection
