Greetings dear Steemians, and child lovers of this wonderful @steemkids community, this week's contest brings a very interesting topic. "HOME OR SCHOOL, WHICH SHOULD HAVE MORE INFLUENCE ON THE CHILD?"

As a teacher of early education I will give my humble opinion, for the success of education it is necessary the association between the family and the school and it is very common to believe that they must work separately, but the reality is that
parents and the educational institution must be in constant harmony, with the ultimate goal of the full development of the child.

In my opinion the greatest influence on the child comes from the home, and I say this based on my experience.
education is not a responsibility restricted to the school, the family and other environments are involved in human development.

Although the child at home may sometimes emphasize what is taught by the teacher, he/she always demonstrates at school his/her habits and teachings that have been taught to him/her by significant adults at home.

This is the reason why the school must have a democratic management, capable of encouraging the constant participation of parents in the school environment. This relationship must go beyond meetings to discuss issues such as complaints, newsletters, meetings, etc. It is important to be available at more accessible times and to demonstrate that the school is open to dialogue and new suggestions.

Harmony between the family and the school allows to expand the child's development and the learning process. In this way, the student has the opportunity to live educational experiences in school and in family life.

There is little family participation in the child's school life.
And the help that comes from the family, is fundamental for the school success of children, concluding that the participation of parents in the school life of their children helps to share and recover the practice of dialogue and to establish limits, pointing out that it serves as a reflection for our pedagogical practice.

The school and the family are very important in the child's life, since it is the main reason for sustaining the child's personality.
It is urgently necessary to involve the family for a better participatory and intellectual development of the child in the school environment.

The behavior of some children at school is the consequence of parents who do not have a firm grip on decisions, who do not know how to dialogue, that is, to say yes or no at the right time, and with that may be forming a child full of excuses. Where he does not go to school because he is sleepy, he says he has no classes, sometimes it is a lie or if he goes he does not take his studies seriously. Time passes and parents do not care to examine why the class does not exist and with this the child will get used to this invention, reaching the point where there is no longer control.

It is for this reason that based on what I have experienced in the classroom I firmly believe that the family is the main base of the child, providing protection, love, knowledge and values. In this way, it becomes the first to establish contact between the individual and the social environment, through relationships, family experiences that are responsible for the formation of character within the family, school and social context, as the first school in the family the child. The child, with the teacher continuing to improve life.

While many families look to the school to demand commitment from both the student and the teacher, but this is not the cause of all participation, especially since the best contribution is the effort, dedication, appreciation of knowledge, this is what is at stake and, therefore, family and school have to walk together, interacting with reality, culture and lived experiences.
