Vanessa has been on track and was determined to pursue her dreams until she crossed paths with Marianne, Marianne had already gone wild when Vanessa who was still timid and still under full custody of her parents met her.

Marianne lost both parents as a kid and grew up on her own with no one to guide her, no one to tell her what to do and what not to do, growing up and struggling to survive on her own made Marianne very wild and hard to handle, Marianne was quite disrespectful as well. Vanessa did not care about what people will say or think, all she wanted was to be friends with Marianne despite all the advice from her mom and dad to stay away from Marianne but she wouldn't listen.

Vanessa knew Marianne was into a secret business but did not really know what Marianne was selling, she was eager to find out what Marianne was into and started asking Marianne what her secret business could be, a business that only takes place at night and no one sees the buyer as they always wear caps and keep their heads down.

Vanessa kept the questions coming until Marianne finally decided to open up to her friend, she gave her conditions that will make her open up and one of the conditions was to be part of the business if told what the business is all about, Vanessa was eager and immediately agreed to be part of the business without any second thought.

Marianne told her story to Vanessa and how she was forced into drugs to enable her sustain herself, drugs is the business she was into all this while. Vanessa had already agreed to be a part of the business therefore there was no turning back, Marianne made Vanessa her personal assistant who helped in the distribution of this hard drugs and all these was going on without the knowledge of her parents.

After months of been into the business Vanessa became a drug addict and lost track of her dreams, they were bursted and arrested for drugs trafficking. Vanessa was influenced and forced to derail by her friend Marianne.
