Diary Game|| 24-11-2024|| How I Spend my Day Today & Southwest Nativity Day
Dear diary,
Despite the fact that I slept late but I was fortunate enough to jump out of my bed at the ringing sound of my cell phone alarm which I delibrately increase before going to bed. I intentionally increase the volume to a very high range and also delibrately position the cell phone a little bit far from the bed to avoid a situation where I can easily reach out to and stop the alarm without necessarily standing up. All this was done to avoid going to Church late by reason of sleep due to not sleeping on time.
As soon as I woke up, I heated our bathing water using the electric boiling ring and went back to pray as my wife do the dishes, after which she took advantage of the light to cooked food early in the morning since we are not sure to meet the light upon returning back home from Church.
I used the space of time to pray again for the Sunday service and to seek God's divine presence and blessings upon all worshippers with infallible proofs. As soon as the water was hot enough, my wife and kid first took their bath before I took mine. After we all bath we dressed up and left home to Church.
Reaching the Church as usual I entered my office alongside my family and we both change our clothes as usual because we cannot dress from home due to the ongoing road construction and also harmattan season has started already with it unavoidable impact. After dressing I joined the other team of Pastors to pray as usual for the service before its take off. After the prayer I shared responsibility among the Pastors as enshrined in the program schedule and we all went into the sanctuary and the service began at the exact time as planned.
Today's service happens to be our End of the Month Special Thanksgiving Service which also doubled as our South West (Yoruba) Nativity Day. The service was very lively as the Yoruba brethren displayed their cultural varieties ranging from Praise and Worship, Dress Code (their native attires), varieties of food in Yoruba land, a short and interesting play-lett portraying the Yoruba King and his subjects (Yuruba Kingdom).
We had a Pre-Shiloh Youth Aflame Prayer Meeting strictly for the Youth as instructed by the Leadership immediately after service. We snapped some pictures in my office as you can see below.
After the meeting we returned home, ate our lunch and then slept in other to refreshed ourselves. We ate two varieties of food which are rice and beans, and also swallow as you can see in the picture below.
Waking up my wife cooked chicken pepper soup as you can see below which we ate jointly with the rice she cooked earlier as dinner.
We watched some movies and finally retired to bed. That was how I spent this day joyfully and with a merry heart.
Thank you very much, I love you all.
I wish to invite @josepha, @simonwigwe and @ruthjoe to also make there diary entries.
