The Middle Ages... offers countless eras of various games, especially strategy or role-playing games, but I assure you, you have never seen a game like the one we show today. Rustler is a game that just ended early access after two years of waiting. It was developed by the Polish studio Jutsu Games and published by Modus Games. This time it gives us a somewhat absurd and old-fashioned Middle Ages.
We have seen the first proof of this in the impressive opening film, an introduction made in a real image shows us our protagonist - whom he refers to simply as Guy - a medieval criminal who agrees to become a bully and break the law as him until one day they were tanning their waist with a stick. This is where the game begins, our mother told us to stop being lazy and build a future for ourselves.
We are facing GTA itself, so it follows the same plan: we will have an open world in which we can not only walk, but also take different means of transport, such as horses or carriages, in which we must also carry out the task. . Assign different people. As a GTA clone you can see absolutely everything, we even have policemen -this is only a royal guard with colored lights- if we have any irregularity they will chase us without hesitation, we can even enter the workshop Change the color of our horse so that the authorities stop look for us.
The title puts a lot of emphasis on being a ridiculous game - how disappointing - and decided to use humor as a banner. Everything is meant to be fun, from weird tasks we have to do, like dressing up as prostitutes to dive into the water, to helping some... vegetable traders get their wares.
Sometimes we will have to face the enemy to save our lives. We will have several weapons of the time, such as swords, halberds or axes, although due to historical antecedents there will be almost no "fire" weapons - if we take into account the crossbows - although they insist on skipping them to the bullfighters. For melee, we can hit with the trigger from above, we can cover ourselves with a shield, and we can even roll to avoid attacks, this is something inherited from the legend of the soul that is always mentioned. We can also get armor to improve our defense, which is equivalent to the bulletproof vest from the legend of GTA, which will also change our appearance.
It can be said that the map is quite extensive, the first city is already very large and covers a lot of ground, but we can unlock the capital of the kingdom and double the area of the first area.

Moving on to the technical side, Rustler has a cell-tinted look, which makes it very attractive to the touch, although the performance isn't really very good, and there will be frame drops at some point. On the other hand, the sound is great, and the bard will be in charge of using all the types of melody of him -even beatbox- to give a meaning to the music in a strange medieval style, we can use it as our radio. It is Spanish of course and it is well translated, although the vocal performance is limited to grunts and exaggerated gestures.
Rustler is a good option for those who want to start using the sandbox type, because it is a humble, small-scale product that does not stop following the specifications of the type. It may take us 8-10 hours to complete the story, so if we are too lazy to face these types of games, we do not need to invest dozens of hours.
