Hello Steemingzen!
In this post, we would like to apologize for this news about contest prize reward in upvote worth 50$/40$/30$ not available anymore as Booming Curation Support Team just inform us that they would not be able to support contest prize any longer.
But don't be upset, we will be putting the winners' active post on Steeming Community under daily Booming Curation and will be giving the prize of 50SP/40SP/30SP to the first top 3 winners. Consolation prize also will be given in the form of SP.
We hope that you understand that this is beyond our control as this depends on the courtesy of the Booming Curation team for the contest prize. Their reason was, there is a lot of community emerging on Steemit that need their upvote to get started on Steemit.
Introducing Steeming Community contest prize system
Moving forward we will be given the prize contest in form of SP to encourage SP building among our members.
The contest prize from Steeming Community contest will be given as follow:
50SP - 1st prize plus active post at Steeming Community selected for booming curation list
40SP - 2nd prize plus active post at Steeming Community selected for booming curation list
30SP - 3rd prize plus active post at Steeming Community selected for booming curation list
The consolation prize will be given in the form of SP too.
These contests' winners will be receiving the prize according to the new contest prize system:

Despite this, we see how beneficial the outcome of this because ensure security steem block chain! Huge thanks always.
This news is sad. But it might be for the betterment of the majority. With this change, booming can help more people. The number of communities is increasing now, let's not lose hope it's important that we continue to be here in our community.
I understand this situation. The prize system doesn't bother me and I'm looking forward to participate in the competitions
This is not a good news, but the new development is a good way to go. Hopefully, things will get better soon.
I quite understand this post but It's sad for me.
I am one of the last week's contest winners and I am yet to receive my prize. If you are to go by this new prize distribution, you may have to be fast about it please because my post is already in the 6th day.
And secondly, I have not known about giving SP except for delegation. Can SP be sent or given to another person? Or do you mean delegation by giving?

Hi @tmighty I can do power up to someone's account with my own Steem, I just power up 0.5 steem to your account for an example.
You will have to go to the "advanced" button and fill in the required info there.
