Hola amigos, hoy les estare hablando de esta pequeña ave, con el nombre de pipa, son muy hermosas y cuando estan pequeñas necesitan de ayuda debido a que pueden caer de un arbol y ser presa facil para las serpientes, gavilanes y gatos que siempre andan acechando por ahi.
Son de color marron y tambien esta una variedad mas grande pintada, son muy velocez y escapan rapido de su depredador, siempre andan enlos campos y se alimentan de semillas, frutas, maiz entre otros granos que vean en una finca.
No les importa estar con las gallinas y los pavos, incluso les roban el maiz, algunas veces pueden llegar en grandes cantidades.

They are brown in color and there is also a larger variety painted, they are very fast and escape quickly from their predator, they always walk in the fields and feed on seeds, fruits, corn among other grains that they see in a farm.
They do not mind being with the chickens and turkeys, they even steal their corn, sometimes they can arrive in large quantities.
Hubo una epoca en donde estaban en peligro de extincion ya que las personas las cazaban para comerlas, ya no se veian muchas pero con una buena gestion del gobierno ahora las personas que las tengan en la lista de caza van a pagar con el peso de la ley por acabar con la fauna.
Siempre las veo en mi patio y les doy alimento y maiz, ellas llegan y comen, me gusta ayudarlas ya que son unas hermosas aves, ayudemos a nuestro planeta que tanto lo necesita y estos animales ayudan a controlar la plaga de insectos que merodean en todos lados.
