Hello to everyone in this community and other communities as large.I am very pleased to take part in this great contest organized by @tarpan. Thank to everyone.The coin I am going to talk about is the Solana.

First of all, what is Solana?
Solana is a highly functional open source project, that banks on blockchain technology's permission nature to provide decentralized finance solution.

What makes Solana unique?

One of the essential innovation Solana brings to the table is proof-of-history consensus developed by Anotoly Yakovenko. This concept allow for greater scalability of the protocol, which is turn boosts usability. It is known in the crypto currency space because of the incredibly short processing times the blockchain offers. It intend to serve both small-time users and enterprise customers alike.

The SOL token distribution is as follows:16.23% went towards an initial seed sale,12.92% of tokens were dedicated to a founding sale. 12.79% of SOL coins were distributed among team members and 10.46%0of tokens were given to the SOL foundation. And the remaining tokens were already released for public and private sales or are still to be released to the market.

How does SOL use?
Solana used a combination of proof of stake and new mechanism called"proof of history".
Proof of history is design to keep time between computers on a decentralized network without all the computers having to communicate about it and come to an agreement
