Football has been played for a long time.Football in its current form arose in England in the middle of the 19th century. Walter Camp is considered as the father of football game.The size of a football is roughly 22 cm (8.66 inches) in diameter for a regulation size 5 ball.

Each team needs 11 players to play football. One of the 11 players is goal keeper. Two players act as defense and two players act as strike swipes.The rest of the players are midfielders.All the players of the same team are wearing jerseys of the same color.

There are two teams in a football game and each team has 11 players. Each team aims to score more goals than the other team or opponent.
***A match of football is held for 90 minutes. The whole 90 minutes is divided into two parts. The first 45 minutes are followed by a 15 minute break. After that 15 minute break, 45 minutes are played again. In the meantime the player exchange, the time that is lost in case of injury is calculated by the referee and he gives the extra time as he wishes. The team that scores the most goals in this whole period wins.
