Enchanting Visit to Alpine Hotel & Resort Nathia Gali

In my previous travel diary, I wrote about my first day of the excursion with a group of people to Northern Punjab and KPK.

I am continuing the travelogue with the 2nd-day stories.

The breakfast was at mess - we ate the usual eggs, parathas, chanay.

It rained the previous night so humidity was pretty much gone which made the weather pleasant. The fog returned in few hours though.

After breakfast, we took a lot of pictures outside mess as the place is beautifully decorated. We decided to go at the roof top of the recently renovated sun room.

The view from the top was mesmerising and it could be more enchanting if there was less fog which covered the mountains like a white cast.

Day Visit to Alpine Resort

An hour later, we all hopped into our buses and set off for Nathia Gali. There's this insta-famous place there - Alpine Hotel & Resort.

It's a perfect place for unwinding in nature, far from hustle and bustle of the city. The exotic ambiance and serenity of the views altogether make it a fantastic choice for summer getaway.

There were several wooden decks over the trees which looked charming. We had two whole decks to ourselves. Two decks because the capactity of one deck was upto 16 people.

We took tons of pictures all over the place. The guestrooms' gallery was the prettiest of all. The green carpet and colour flowers in the hanging pots were accentuating the naturalness of the corridor with woody feels.

We ordered Chinese food, it was delicous as well.
By the time we finished our lunch, weather started getting colder.

We had to increase the layers to keep children warm. After lunch, we explored the area a bit more. There were different dining lounges and a presidential villa. I couldn't take my eyes away from it. I have a thing for pretty hotels. I'm sure it will cost me a kidney to rent a night there but I'm already thinking to save up for it.

Later, we headed towards our buses and dropped our hand-carries there and decided to walk down the mountain. It was a very steep road down so I held hand of my elder son and my husband held up our toddler.

It was another experience walking in the mountains and watching the scenic views from this close. The views however were getting blur and blur with each passing minute as you can see in the above picture. Nonetheless, it was magical and giving the feels of walking on a deserted road in a creepy movie.
