ENTREPRENEUL SPIRIT

The economy status of the country is really poor thus leads to scarcity of some essential commodities with this our country people are really hardworking. I so much appreciate my country people for being willing and eager to be industrious, personally I hate laziness, we have two hands, two legs and eyes then why stay hungry? Our people have the spirit of entrepreneur they do not sit back to starve themselves. We have so many entrepreneurs in the country such as Dangote groups of companies that specialises in the production of cement, refined petroleum products, spaghetti, fruit juice and Dangote salt. Business sector do invests in stable business such Innoson motors which produces all kinds of vehicles such as luxurious buses, special utility vehicle (SUV's) Ambulances, patrol vehicles and etc.

FERTILE LAND

Nigeria has an arable land area of 34 million hectares: 6.5 million hectares for permanent crops, and 28.6 million hectares on grassland and pastures. Nigeria is a leader in various types of agricultural produce available in Nigeria such as palm oil, cocoa, beans, pineapple, and sorghum. We are the largest producer of sorghum in the whole world just after the United States, top notch in the production of palm oil and cocoa beans. Nigeria is also a large global exporter in Oil, fruits, nuts, seeds are among the ten best performing export categories

THINGS I WILL LIKE TO CHANGE

UNEMPLOYMENT

The rate of unemployment in nigeria is alarming it is estimated to reach 33% much as if companies government facilities such as secretariat, schools, hospitals are filled up, they are open but there are no workers but it's so many graduates are out here without employment. Primary education is poor many can't afford education yet the little that made their way through faces unemployment. As the rate of unemployment increases the rate of crime in nigeria also increase because so many unemployed youth are everywhere causing crimes of different types.
Having known this, I thought of eradicating unemployment in Nigeria by opening up opportunities for people to seek employment, then I will create revenues so as to have enough income to pay them.

INFRASTRUCTURE (poor roads and poor power supply)

In nigeria there are so many bad roads in different states, no adequate power supply. In life, everything needs maintenance, this road eventually get bad as it is being used. Therefore, failure to repair it when it get bad, result in the road getting worse. It is a pity that all over the country there is a lot of major road and street. Nigeria need intensive repairs of road and streets and to establish adequate supply of electricity . So if I have my way I wish to change all this for the betterment of my people.

IMPROVING HEALTH CARE

Naturally i have passion for improving health care and as a health care practitioner, have seen so many people who are not able to afford health care. We all know no one plan for ill health, there are some emergency sickness that comes all of a sudden. In as much as we live, we alway know we will eat and as such we are conscious of what to eat. However, in as much as we are living the last of days, we get sick in this case so many in my country Nigeria can't afford medical treatment for themselves especially the infirm, children, elderly, pregnant women etc. So with this in mind I will like to bring change on health care if I have my way. I will make health care available ans affordable, I will also trained enough health worker and employs enough health worker, build health facilities well equipped for my people.

Conclusion

These 3 things you have mentioned that you like about your country, varieties of food, fertile lands and entrepreneurial spirit are true. We have these things are they make us stand out. The pictures depicts all that you have said.
About the 3 things you will like to change, unemployment, poor infrastructure and improving healthcare, of a truth, we really need improvement in these areas. We can only hope for the better. Perhaps the vacancies that exist in those offices are waiting for their grand children to be born, grow up and then they can fill the start working, since they can't employ the graduates now. Let's wait and see. Jehovah will surely act to relieve us of our suffering. Thanks for sharing

Thank you for your nice comments,

Exactly what they are upto but whatever their plans, our hope is in the future God's kingdom will soon bring mankind's relief to world problems

I have seen you post articles with specific recipes from nigeria. When I see them, I feel hungry. I like foods that are specific to your country. And I never knew before you had a cucumber farm. That's a very good thing. A self-sufficient economic pattern is essential for a country.

There are also dilapidated roads in difficult rural areas in our country. It would be great if the government would pay attention to these.

Great entry @eliany, I’m from Nigeria too I certainly can relate to all that you wrote here. We really do have amazing food from all ethnic groups. Bad roads cause so much damage than I think our government are aware of, bad roads is among our major problems and urgent attention is needed in that area.

Nice write up once again, good luck in the contest

Weldon oooo, your country Nigeria is beautiful, God will help most things to be changed. In your country.

Yes he will help us thank you for your nice comments

Thanks, sis.
