Creativewriting || Controlling anger
Steemean friends that I am proud of. As we know, anger or rage is an emotional trait characterized by opposition to someone or feelings after being treated wrongly. Anger helps us understand that we feel wronged and gives us the impetus to act or improve the situation.
Anger can also be caused by various situations that we face. There are times when anger is based on a definite reason, and there are even people who are angry without a clear reason.
Of course, everyone has anger, it's just that anger can be controlled well by people who can control themselves. Personally, I am the type of person who doesn't get angry easily, because every day I deal with school children, especially elementary school children. However, sometimes anger comes by itself when patience has run out. However, if anger comes to me, then I immediately remember the effects caused by that feeling of anger, which might be detrimental to myself.
As a teacher who educates students who are predominantly small children, of course there is always an annoying nature within us due to their actions. In situations where children are misbehaving at school, whether they are fighting with their friends or disturbing school equipment, sometimes these situations can cause a bad mood.
This also applies in social life, a situation that makes my heart feel bad is when someone blames me for my actions without any definite reason. Because apart from being a teacher, I am also a community leader in my village.
Maybe with the children at my school, the last time I was angry with them was when the assignment I gave them to do at home was not finished when the meeting time arrived. In fact, they did this task for a week. However, when the day I collected it arrived, only a small part had completed its task.
Therefore, I ordered them to clean the school yard for at least 15 minutes.
Now...! From that, the last reason that made me angry was when the orders I gave were not carried out properly, especially by my students at school.
Anger is part of an emotion that actually has a negative impact. Anger can have a negative impact if you express it excessively to the point of hurting yourself or others. Of course, in my opinion, being angry is a bad or negative thing.
However, being angry is different when coaching and guiding children or others in a competition. Because anger here is a motivation to encourage those who are struggling.
