You Are But a Few Days
On time management the ancient Arabs said:
"You are but a few days; with each passing day, a part of you passes as well."
Once you start realizing it, you'll find that it's a fact, you're nothing but a few days, and with every day that passes a part of you fades away and never gets back.
This quote has helped me throughout the last six years pay extra attention to where my time goes, I started minimizing and even eliminating the meaningless conversations, I stopped scrolling through social media platforms all day, and I started identifying everything that wastes my time to get rid of.
While it's super easy to compensate wasted money, it's impossible to compensate a wasted moment.
Warren Buffet said about time:
“People are going to want your time. It's the only thing you can't buy. I mean, I can buy anything I want, basically, but I can't buy time.”
That's the only thing that richest man alive can't buy with money, that's why successful people do everything possible to save time, even if it means paying millions of dollars.
When you realize the value of your time, and that you're nothing but time, you'll start treating your time differently.
