So, as you can see SA is on the top with two wins against Sri Lanka and Australia and a very healthy NRR. For the past few games, their batters have been in pretty good form consistently looking for 300+ runs.

On the other hand, 5 times champions, Aussies have lost their first two games for the first time after 1992. But who knows the night is still too young!!!

  • The first 10 matches have been a highlight for the batters and ballers have nothing to do comparatively. There are 12 centuries so far, from 11 players of 07 teams, and so many records were broken. Well, there may be a change in the pitches and conditions in the upcoming matches.

  • QDK has been the leading run-scorer and he has been impressive in both matches, scoring 02 centuries.

  • Mitchell Santner is the leading wicket-taker so far, with a fifer against the Netherlands.

  • The Sri Lankan campaign** hasn't been a good one so far, still waiting for a win. Last week I said how SA registered a record-winning score batting first.

And the next match was between Pakistan. Batting first, Sri Lanka put a total of 344/9 with the courtesy of a hundred from Kusal Mendis and Sadeera Samarawickrama. At one stage SL was 218/2 after 28 overs when Mendis was bashing the ballers, looking for 400+ runs. But the middle order couldn't deliver and ended up a few runs short. Anyway, with the incredible knocks from Abdullah Shafique and Rizwan Pak registered the highest chase in CWC.

  • South Africa gave an unforgettable defeat to the Aussies yesterday. Batting first, SA put a total of 311/7 with the ton of de Kock. Well, Aus was no way near the chase and
