Now let's take a look at the most talked about game of the weekend. The build up to this game was just as tough as the game itself. Both managers were under a lot of pressure both from fans and from their own words they had uttered during the course of the week. Remember when Klopp made a comment that sounded like Fernandez was just a penalty scorer? As well as Ole's confidence

Before the game on the weekend, Man United was leading Liverpool in terms of trophies won with a total number of 66 as compared to Liverpool's sum of 64. For their head to head, United still led with 81 wins with Liverpool having a total of 67 wins. The rest of the 58 meetings ended in a sudden draw. This created even more pressure for Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp to come up with a killer strategy to take this win.

Well aware of each other's strengths, not many chances were wasted in this game. Each side kept the ball moving forward during possession which is what I like to see in matches. This keeps building the forward momentum of the team and keeps the attack going. The first breakthrough then arrived in the early stages when Firminho delivered a delightful pass to Mo Salah which was lobbed over David De Gea.

It did not take long (less than 10 minutes) for the equalizer to arrive when Marcus Rashford gave a long pass across the defense to Mason Greenwood who did what he does best and pounced one at the back of the net. That was it for the first half.

The second half was also quite intense with lots of great moments. We saw some repetition of moments with a little bit of twists as Mason Greenwood delivered an assist to Rashford who took his time and place it at the bottom right hand side. United were then ahead and had a little breathing space.

It turned out this breathing space would be very brief after some intelligent passes found Firminho. Initially, I thought he would shoot first time but as we have come to know from him now, he enjoys giving assists much more than scoring. He flicked the pass to Robertson who gave left it for Salah. Signature Salah then delivers the final strike that equalized it for them.

Liverpool dominated most the rest of the game and for some time I thought they would take the win. However, the moment the freekick was awarded to Manchester United right outside the 18 yard box, I sensed some danger since they have great talents that can score in this type of situation. Lo and behold, Bruno took it home with a beautiful shot at the bottom right hand side.

Edison Cavani later attempted a header which hit the woodwork. That would have been a great goal considering the amount of power he had behind that.

Great performance from both teams to give us some great football experience. Watch the key moments of the match below.
