Is the premier league no longer competitive??

The premier league is considered by many as one of the most competitive league in the world if not the most. Lately many people don’t regard it ‘competitive’ anymore but rather a ‘Famers league’ a term which refers to a league that doesn’t have any kind of competition or have any quality.
At first it was very difficult to be able to predict the winner of the league in the premier league. Most at times the final game of the season decides the winner. Unlike other leagues like the BundesLiga, Serie A and Ligue 1 most at times mid way through the season the first team and the second team would have a point difference of about 15 points making them an obvious winner. And again a particular team is always dominating and lifting the trophy season after season
When we look at the premier league the so called ‘Competitive league’ Mancity looks like they are Dominating the league Season after Season currently they sit on top with 11 points clear this actually creates doubts weather really the premier league is competitive. Pep is gearing towards his 4th epl title in five years.
If they should succeed in lifting the trophy this season I would be fully convinced that the premier league has lost its competitive factor and can be regarded as a farmers league. Because you can’t tell me that in a competitive league, in 5 years a single team has won it 4times. And still regard it as competitive. Last season Man city finished the league with a 12 point lead from the second place team Man U. And a 17 point difference from the third place team Liverpool. Ladies and gentlemen the so-called ‘Competitive league’.
Even though Liverpool still have a chance of putting pressure on the leaders. Man city are not showing any signs of slowing down after showing us a masterclass display against Chelsea controlling the ball from the start of the game to end. They are currently 13 games unbeaten in the premier league. The last match they lost in the premier league was in October 2021 against Crystal palace.
In other for the league to referred to as competitive teams from ‘the top six’ or any team from the league can take us by surprise like what Leicester did in 2015/2016. The teams need to step up their game and not make things very easy for mancity. It would be a shame if the premier fully becomes a farmers league.
I still think it is competitive although City has taken the lead with that huge difference in points the game is actually competitive.
Matches to be played cant still be determined by just anybody.
